My client is looking for an experienced Operations Assistant to join their rapidly growing group within the Defence Industry.

They specialise in providing analysis and decision support. This includes cost estimating and modelling, risk, schedule, benefits and operational analysis.

This role has been designed in order to support and maintain internal processes ensuring they are fit for purpose for a larger workforce.  Therefore, this role is to support the Operations Manager to coordinate information across teams and improve organisational processes, whilst working to streamline their vetting and recruitment process, in line with government guidance.


  • Liaising with recruiters
  • Managing confidential information specifically regarding:
  • Acting as a central point of contact
  • Vetting & organising Security Training function
  • Organising interviews, contracts, and liaison with interviewees
  • Updating internal HR systems
  • Collating information and creating Monthly internal newsletter
  • Helping develop the internal processes for communications
  • Vast array of general administration duties, liaising with IT
  • Collecting information from staff, updating excel spreadsheets, reporting stats
  • Management of framework Administration


  • Confident, yet personable, flexible and able to collaborate effectively
  • Able to manage a process and understand technical information
  • 2 years administration experience and an accurate eye for detail

  • Have relevant workplace experience
  • be conversant with MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word (high proficiency in MS Excel would be advantageous)
  • Have some knowledge of recruitment processes within a small business
  • Have some knowledge of security Vetting procedures
  • Have experience of Sage for invoicing purposes
